Anembo Park Alpacas

Anembo Park Alpacas was established in 1995 on the Mornington Peninsula after we purchased our first property of 17.5 acres.

When we were looking for a name for our stud we chose ‘Anembo’ as it is an aboriginal name for quiet and peaceful. We felt that this reflected the nature of the animals as well as our property.

We like to provide a holistic approach to our business and therefore look and constantly evaluate all aspects of our farming enterprise.

We are striving to breed top quality alpacas and are always working on improving the next generation, which is why we continue to source top quality males to mate with our females.

In early 2000 as our herd and agistees herd numbers grew we leased land from a neighbour but quickly realised that this was only a short-term solution. In 2003 with growing herd numbers and a commitment to the future we decided to upsize our property. In February 2004 we moved onto 150 acres in Lang Lang.

Not only do we look at improving our animals but are also looking at ways to improve the facilities on our property. We have put in new alpaca paddocks, shelters, shelterbelts and new pasture, with many more developments on the planning board. In the future ET and AI will be part of accelerating our breeding programme.
